WHAT IS A HEAT LOAD CALCULATION?
The size of an air conditioner or heater is based on the maximum heat loss, for heating, or heat gain, for cooling, at any one time. In other words you must size the system to meet the worst time on the day or night that is possible. Once you know how much heat gain or loss there is then you can sellect the proper size sytem to meet that load.
We will need to go through your home room by room, measuring the size of the room, what the walls are made of and how thick they are and what type of insulation you have. Plus we must measure the windows and doors and what they are made of. We must also know what the floors and ceilings have in them for insulation.
